In this series, I was interested in recruiting (via AI) our greatest artists of the past in the ongoing struggle against over-fishing. Each artist painted one over-fished species in our waters to bring our awareness to their name and their beauty. This series came about after I admitted to myself that when shopping for fish in the supermarkets, I was totally unaware of the fish species/names that are sustainably fished and those that are not. These images were generated by the AI technology - DALL-E, and therefore, all single images here are under creative commons license. The combined image (9x9) I will maintain copyright as an artist's assemblage.
